The Outdoor Range Complex at Camp Buffalo is a dominating feature of the camp. At the north end, we have our shotgun range boasting 5 shooting stations and an in-ground thrower. Just south of it and down the hill, we have an Muzzleloader Range at which we offer the muzzleloading option of the Rifle Shooting merit badge during summer camp. Next to the Muzzleloader Range is our 50-Yard Rifle Range. This range has automatic target retrieval and is used for .22 rifles. The southern-most range is our 100-Yard Rifle Range, which poses a special challenge for older Scouts who have already completed many of our shooting merit badges.
